This journey with Snug Beauty started in May 2014. So much has happened since I started.

It really was a platform for me to focus on reviewing products because I enjoy marketing/reviewing things and it was also an outlet to keep me busy from the fact that my then relationship was falling apart and I couldn’t save it. Basically, it was a distraction.
Throughout the years, I’ve changed its purpose from being strictly blogging about products to personal posts, to health, and to offering freelance marketing services. It’s held several purposes for me but the main goal, no matter what I was writing about, was to give honest feedback/thoughts about anything. That motive has never changed.

There are so many different ways to describe someone’s beauty, physically and spiritually – who they are as a person. There is no one way to describe it, but to me, it all leads to confidence and comfort. Being confident in yourself is comforting and that in itself is beautiful. Snug Beauty.
Catarina, 24, marketing graduate and a lover of food and health. Photography, scented candles, reading and music are all my favourite things.. Helper, achiever but incredibly impatient – I just want the best. Nobody is perfect and my impatience is something to work on. I believe in self-growth and doing whatever is best for you.

I’ve grown to believe that the universe is working with you and for you, not against you. Where you are right now in life is what is going to lead you to where you’re supposed to be. I believe in working hard for what you want but having faith in the process of events that occur is important. You have a purpose – if you haven’t found it yet, you will find it soon.

August 2016 I was diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease after a year and a half battle of gaining 100lbs, acne, memory loss, irritability and so forth. January 27th, 2017 I had surgery to remove a 4mm tumour in my pituitary gland, which is located in your brain.
Because of Cushing’s, I was inspired and motivated to bring awareness to and about the disease as well as about brain tumours. I was also inspired to go to a private school to learn about Nutrition. I want to be able to help those find a healthy relationship with themselves and stop worrying about foods or to find the foods that their bodies love and doesn’t work against them.
So no matter why you’re here, join me on this journey as we all find ourselves, learn new things and inspire one another. Join me here or any of my other platforms laid out for you down below.
